Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? (update)

After a layoff as a teaching assistant I am finding mornings difficult. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am sleeping badly and snapping at people. Is it worth talking to someone?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Many counselling centres have sliding-scale rates. I found one through 211, and it made a difference.
