Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? (update)

After a layoff as a hotel front-desk agent I am finding mornings difficult. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am sleeping badly and snapping at people. Is it worth talking to someone?

Many counselling centres have sliding-scale rates. I found one through 211, and it made a difference.
