Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? - first time posting

I sent 8 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. I am in Dallas, in case local advice matters. I am sleeping badly and snapping at people. What helps you on bad days?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
