Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? - first time posting

I sent 16 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. Any experience at all would help. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

Many counselling centres have sliding-scale rates. I found one through 211, and it made a difference.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
