Rough week after the layoff, anyone else?

I sent 15 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. Any experience at all would help. I do not want to burden my family. What helps you on bad days?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
