Rough week after the layoff, anyone else?, event coordinator here

I sent 6 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I do not want to burden my family. Is it worth talking to someone?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
