Rough week after the layoff, anyone else?, electrician's helper here

I sent 15 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
