Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? - any advice?

After a layoff as an office manager I am finding mornings difficult. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. What helps you on bad days?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
