Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? - any advice?

After a layoff as a welding apprentice I am finding mornings difficult. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
