Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? - any advice?

I have been out of work for 5 weeks and this week has been the hardest. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I do not want to burden my family. What helps you on bad days?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I stopped looking at job sites after dinner. Evenings became mine again.
