Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? after 9 years as a janitorial supervisor

After a layoff as a janitorial supervisor I am finding mornings difficult. I do not want to burden my family. Did it pass?

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
