Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? after 9 years as a data-entry clerk

I have been out of work for 18 weeks and this week has been the hardest. It has been a long 18 weeks. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Did it pass?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I stopped looking at job sites after dinner. Evenings became mine again.
