Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? after 8 years as an accountant

I have been out of work for 6 weeks and this week has been the hardest. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I do not want to burden my family. What helps you on bad days?

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
