Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? after 6 years as a line cook

After a layoff as a line cook I am finding mornings difficult. I am in Albuquerque, in case local advice matters. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
