Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? after 4 years as a line cook

I sent 4 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. I am in Phoenix, in case local advice matters. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working.

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
