Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? after 18 years as a janitorial supervisor

I sent 18 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I do not want to burden my family. Is it worth talking to someone?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
