Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? after 16 years as a welding apprentice

After a layoff as a welding apprentice I am finding mornings difficult. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I do not want to burden my family. Did it pass?

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
