Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? after 14 years as an electrician's helper

After a layoff as an electrician's helper I am finding mornings difficult. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am sleeping badly and snapping at people. What helps you on bad days?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
