Rough week after the layoff, anyone else?

I sent 7 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. I am in Chicago, in case local advice matters. I do not want to burden my family. What helps you on bad days?

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
