Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? - 6 months and counting

I have been out of work for 16 weeks and this week has been the hardest. I am in Wichita, in case local advice matters. I am sleeping badly and snapping at people. Is it worth talking to someone?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
