Rough week after the layoff, anyone else? - 11 months and counting

I have been out of work for 8 weeks and this week has been the hardest. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am sleeping badly and snapping at people.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
