I received a formal notice about a mass layoff at my workplace. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Some colleagues are already leaving. Has anyone been through this?

The workforce board ran a rapid-response session for us with résumé help and information on benefits. Ask if yours will.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
