Plant closing and notice period questions (Charlotte)

Idris Abara · 2026-09-14T20:53:24.372Z

My employer announced that the site will close and gave us written notice. I am in Charlotte, in case local advice matters. They offered a retention bonus for people who stay.

I stayed for the retention bonus and looked for work on the side. It cushioned the gap.
