Plant closing and notice period questions - any advice?

Our team was told about a closure date that is 17 weeks away. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some colleagues are already leaving. What did the workforce office offer?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
