Plant closing and notice period questions after 10 years as a marketing coordinator

My employer announced that the site will close and gave us written notice. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some colleagues are already leaving. Has anyone been through this?

I stayed for the retention bonus and looked for work on the side. It cushioned the gap.
