Plant closing and notice period questions - 8 months and counting

Our team was told about a closure date that is 19 weeks away. There are 11 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Some colleagues are already leaving.

I stayed for the retention bonus and looked for work on the side. It cushioned the gap.
