Plant closing and notice period questions - 6 months and counting

Our team was told about a closure date that is 21 weeks away. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some colleagues are already leaving. Has anyone been through this?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
