Plant closing and notice period questions - 19 weeks in

Anya Okafor · 2026-09-01T01:09:51.363Z

Our team was told about a closure date that is 19 weeks away. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. They offered a retention bonus for people who stay. What did the workforce office offer?

I stayed for the retention bonus and looked for work on the side. It cushioned the gap.
