Making savings last after losing my job - what worked for you?

My income dropped to unemployment benefits and my bills have not changed. I am in Cleveland, in case local advice matters. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $950 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
