Making savings last after losing my job - what worked for you?

I have 2 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a forklift operator. It has been weighing on me all week. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
