Making savings last after losing my job - what worked for you?

We are a household of 12 and need to cut costs quickly. There are 12 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. What did you cut first?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $450 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
