Making savings last after losing my job (update)

I have 14 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an insurance claims processor. Any experience at all would help. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
