Making savings last after losing my job (update)

I have 12 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a delivery driver. I am in Boston, in case local advice matters. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
