Making savings last after losing my job (update)

We are a household of 14 and need to cut costs quickly. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Rent and the car are the biggest costs.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
