Making savings last after losing my job (update)

We are a household of 17 and need to cut costs quickly. Thank you in advance. I listed every subscription and found several I forgot. What did you cut first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
