Making savings last after losing my job, software tester here

I have 5 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a software tester. It has been a long 9 weeks. I am nervous about the credit card minimums.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $950 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
