Making savings last after losing my job (Nashville)

I have 9 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a line cook. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What helped the most?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
