Making savings last after losing my job (Minneapolis)

I have 8 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a software tester. It has been a long 6 weeks. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
