Making savings last after losing my job (Louisville)

We are a household of 6 and need to cut costs quickly. I am in Louisville, in case local advice matters. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $600 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.
