Making savings last after losing my job (Little Rock)

I have 8 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an administrative assistant. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What helped the most?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
