I have 5 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a welding apprentice. I worked as a welding apprentice before this. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
