Making savings last after losing my job (Knoxville)

I have 9 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a nurse's aide. It has been weighing on me all week. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
