Making savings last after losing my job - first time posting

I have 2 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a forklift operator. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. What helped the most?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
