Making savings last after losing my job - first time posting

I have 4 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an HR coordinator. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What helped the most?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
