Making savings last after losing my job - first time posting

We are a household of 12 and need to cut costs quickly. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
