Making savings last after losing my job - first time posting

I have 7 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a mechanic. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am nervous about the credit card minimums. Did any lender work with you?

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
