Making savings last after losing my job - first time posting

I have 4 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as a web developer. It has been a long 12 weeks. Rent and the car are the biggest costs.

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
