Making savings last after losing my job

We are a household of 6 and need to cut costs quickly. I worked as a welding apprentice before this. I am nervous about the credit card minimums.

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $200 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

Ask your utility about hardship programmes. Mine knocked a bit off my bill for several months.
