Making savings last after losing my job (Dallas)

We are a household of 14 and need to cut costs quickly. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. What did you cut first?

Subscriptions first, then the phone plan. I saved about $1100 a year just by switching to a cheaper plan.

I called the landlord and the card company early. Both offered a short payment plan, which I did not expect.
