Making savings last after losing my job (Cincinnati)

I have 12 months of savings and I am trying to stretch them after being let go as an accountant. Rent and the car are the biggest costs. Did any lender work with you?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
